STREXBOX vs other flywheel producers
The main difference is that other flywheel producers have a vertical built in flywheel and we have a horizontal built in flywheel which we have US patented. Horizontal flywheel leads to more safety, larger movement area, device is easier to store, on the production side for us less material costs and less shipping costs which leads to a price advantage. Disadvantage of the horizontal flywheel: you have the flip the box to exchange the flywheels (if you change the flywheels often that may be important, if you don’t change it often above mentioned advantages outweigh this disadvantage from our perspective).
What is the difference between STREXBOX 3L, Travel 4, Studio 4?
STREXBOX 3L: full metal body, can carry up to 3pcs of S or L inertia plates. Max allowed load: 1 XL + 1 L inertia plates.
STREXBOX Travel 4: full metal body, can carry up to 3pcs of S, L and XL inertia plates. Max allowed load: 3 XL inertia plates. This is our best selling device, because the XL inertia plates allow you to have more resistance at a lower pulling speed. And it is small size which means portable and easy to store. 4th generation has a new belt guiding unit and 4th generation inertia plate mounting (more quiet, heavier loads up to 3 XL plates possible, easier maintenance).
STREXBOX Studio 4: same as STREXBOX Travel 4, but with large standing platform when you need more space for sumo squats etc. It comes already with extension belts and bar for additional upper body workouts as a standard. It is the only device that is able to fit a heel-up-and-lateral-squat-block.
Should I buy a Box or Tower?
Box: best for squats and all exercises where you pull vertically
Tower: best for core, upper body. Basically if you want to perform other exercises then squats frequently the wall-mounted STREXBOX Tower is the best choice.
What is the max force I can achieve?
The resistance created depends on 2 factors:
- Amount and size of inertia plates
- Pulling speed, the faster you pull the more resistance
When an Inertia Plate L says 0-60kg, is that 60kg of resistance?
Yes, that means you can achieve a max of 60kg when you pull fast (with explosive squats for example to train jump height). The average force is below this value, usually around 30-50%.
I am a business with an European VAT number, can I deduct 20% VAT Austria?
Yes, you have 2 options:
Option 1: buy online if you want to pay with credit card or Paypal: after you have inputted your address there is a field where can add your VAT number, then our system checks automatically if your VAT number is valid and deducts the tax before your make payment.
